Convey, like his sire, comes from the famous Lewitz Stud. His sire was a CSI**** Grand Prix winner and a frequent competitor in the Nations Cup with Canada team. At just 17 years old, he won an international Grand Prix with the Canadian rider Ben Asselin, who competed on the bay stallion Conmiro Grande (competition name: Veyron) for over eight years. Convey's paternal grandsire, Conterno Grande, was also a 1.60m showjumper competing at this high level with top German riders Philipp Weishaupt and Marco Kutscher.

Both stallions, along with Convey, consistently pass on the "Contender" type, making them particularly interesting for breeders seeking reliable bloodlines.On the paternal side, iconic stallions such as Heartbreaker and Ramiro Z appear in the third and fourth generations, meeting the modern breeding demands.

On the dam's side, his paternal lineage includes Chacco-Blue, a multiple-time leader on the WBFSH top 100 stallion list, and Baloubet du Rouet, an Olympic champion and Hall of Fame member, who is regarded as one of Chacco-Blue's best crosses. Convey's second dam, Wilane, also competed at international Grand Prix level with German rider Andreas Kreuzer. His dam’s sibling produced Edocenta, who competed with Charlotte Jacobs, placed in the Wellington Grand Prix and represented the U.S. in the Nations Cup team.

Since the beginning of his competitive career, Convey has been a cornerstone of the Fabiancsics Sporthorses stable. Over seven seasons, he has demonstrated remarkable consistency, completing a high percentage of clear rounds. He was also a finalist in the National Championship for Young Horses (6YO). In recent years, he has achieved success in international 1.40-1.45m classes and Grand Prix events.
