Vitzbold's father Verdi is a European and world champion, and Olympic team silver medalist with the Dutch national team.

With Maikel van der Vleuten, he has won five major championships in a row: 2011 European Championships, Madrid, 2012 London Olympics, 2013 European Championships, Herning, 2014 World Championships, Caen, 2015 European Championships, Aachen.

He has competed in three World Championship finals, finishing sixth twice and seventh once.

Verdi's maternal lineage is the famous "Plüschau" Holstein 474a family, which can be traced back to horses such as VDL Bubalu, Vingino, or Calato, who also covered in Hungary. Verdi is now ranked 19th in the top 100 studs, making him a major player not only in sport but also in breeding.

Vitzbold is the only Verdi sired stallion approved for breeding in Hungary. He has an exceptional pedigree, fourth in the ancestral line of foundation stallions below: Alme, Ladykiller xx, Calypso I, Absatz, Landgraf I, Grannus.

Vitzbold's Oldenburg mare family has also produced excellent results.

He has two 1.40m siblings and a premium-rated Oldenburg stud brother.

There are two Hungarian aspects to the dam's side: Her second dam gave the international 1.45m level stud Argon, and her third dam gave the 1.60m qualified Laura (Lord Liberty – Grannus), who competed with Attila Cser on the racecourses, and the mare family also gave several 1.40-1.60m horses.

Vitzbold has excellent dynamics on the jumps despite his size, embodying the classic breeding stallion. From this year onwards, he is available to breeders as a new stallion: Both the sire’s and the dam's results will allow their foals to carry on such exceptional genetics.
