Chaclavia is a daughter of the exceptional former world number one sire Chacco-Blue. Her dam, Baclavia ’El Z, competed up to 1.30 m and is by the outstanding Balou du Rouet. The combination of Chacco-Blue × Balou du Rouet represents one of the most successful bloodline combinations in modern show jumping breeding.
The third generation of her pedigree features Chin Chin, the Olympic mount of Jaime Azcarraga (MEX) and one of the most successful show jumpers of his era. Her granddam, Cel ’Est Z (Chin Chin), produced two horses competing at 1.30 m: Baclavia ’El Z, Chaclavia’s dam, and Dark Chocolate Maxx (by Darco).
Further back in the damline, Rheingold Z (by Rebel I Z) produced the 1.60 m show jumper Qrispy D’Ive Z (by Quick Star), the 1.40 m jumper Ungaro D’Ive Z, and the approved breeding stallion Que Pour Toi (by Quidam de Revel). The fifth dam, Gotendirndl Z (by Gotthard), is the dam of the legendary stallion Aloube Z. This direct maternal line has also produced several successful sport horses and approved stallions, including Cornet’s Darco, RMF Retro (1.45 m), Cevin’s Pleasure (1.40 m) and El Capricho Champion (1.40 m).
Chaclavia showed promise from an early age, winning the Foal Championship in 2022 and later becoming the winner of her Mare Performance Test in 2025. She began her competition career in 2026 in age-group classes for four-year-old horses, where she has already shown consistent and successful performances, earning several placings in her first season. Her results so far mark a promising start to her sport career.
