Description
A UNIQUE lot for delicate buyers: A superb rare and outstanding pedigree what makes her highly recommended as a breeding mare of for OPU/ICSI: She is the sister to the legendary sire LAMM DE FETAN!
Lamm de Fetan has a splendid career behind him. He won Grand Prix and Nations Cups under Timothee Anciaume and finished fifth with the French team at the European Championships in Windsor. After his spectacular sale to Edouard de Rothschild, the successes accumulated. Meanwhile he produced showjumping horses such as the 1.60m GP placed Rumba de la Cavee, Ulahop Boy, Uruguay Courcelle and Byron du Telman. Born in 1999, Lamm de Fetan is a son of Fergar Mail (Laudanum xx x Alme), also known as Chapultepec la Silla, the favorite stallion of Alfonso Romo. “Chapultepec is a horse with a spectacular way of jumping, a horse with scope but also a great pleasure to ride”, says the Mexican.
Lamm de Fetan’s dam descends from Le Tot de Semilly, sire of, amongst others, Diamant de Semilly, Elkintot, Eurocommerce Vancouver, Fidji de Fleury and Itot du Chateau.
Carrera is a very well modeled and great looking mare. She’s ‘the complete package’ with outstanding jumping qualities we’re looking for nowadays. She jumps with a very good technique, a great of push from the ground when jumping. Beside that, she has a lovely character, very good stable manners and good and easy ride-ability on the flat. She’s well balanced, nice to sit and very straight forward. Carrera always jumps with a good overview and carefulness. Thanks to her fantastic mindset and eager attitude to get to the other side of the jump, she is great partner for competitions. She is now experienced on 1.10m, due to her early foaling, but for sure ready for more.
