Merkúr M is a grey stallion bred by Modesto x Ginus, born in 2016. Currently competes in his age category, on 110 cm. He was a finalist in the Show Jumping Breeding Competition in his own age group. An elegant, easy-to-ride horse with a bright future ahead.

Merkúr M was born in Mezőhegyes, one of the oldest stud farms in the world. His sire, JPC Modesto, was one of the most successful jumpers in the world for years with Jean-Marc Nicolas. In breeding, he also gave a Grand Prix horse, namely Bugatti.
Merkúr M’s third dam is the legend of the Hungarian sporthorse breeding, Vadrózsa. This grey mare started at the 1980 Olympics with his full brother, Artemis, as a member of the Hungarian national team. The fourth dam, Pillangó, was a Grand Prix jumping horse and a national level eventing horse. She gave not only two Olympic horses, but also a stallion, Aldato Eroica.
On the maternal side, Mercury’s origin includes Aldato, who was Landgraf’s maternal grandsire and the sire of Josef Neckermann’s Olympic mare, Venice, as well as the great Ginus, who helped Hungarian sporthorse breeding with horses at both World and European Championships.
